I have to ponder it. There's something telling me that the voters should have known in advance, that the NPW and the LPR are supposed to become the only oppositional parties - some electors might have been wishing for a stronger opposition, then, thus voting for one of those small parties who are now left out in the rain, from where they can bark at the big bloc of an almost-all-parties coalition. For comic relief, we should appoint Max the opposition leader under these circumstances.
Anyway, yes, compromises have to be hammered out, there will never be the purity of the thought, if parties are coalescing. Nonetheless it might help to have a sketch of a a plan in the drawer, to be able to say what we would do, if surprisingly the people would want to let us do it our way, with the majority that is required to amend the OrgLaw singlehandedly.

Yes, I don't know what an opposition that represents approximately 10 % of the electors would be good for. By now, it's only saying that Peculiarists and Max are not wanted aboard the super-coalition, possibly because Miestrâ is already anticipating that those are the people who will not like her proposal anyway.

She used the results of the freshly ended election to illustrate her concept. She did not pick the LPR and NPW to be the one's left out, they would have been under that system given the nu,bers from the fresh election. She is not proposing that this is how the current government should be divided, but proposing for debate an idea of a change in how it might be formed in the future. I don't think it margianilizes the opposition. If anything, I would say it was strengthened, as every party could be seen as the "opposition" to some department or other, putting the burden of diligent oversight on all shoulders.

She is not proposing that this is how the current government should be divided... OK, now she is. Never mind.
