A slightly biased Talossan newsmagazine, for instance, named "THE PECULIARIST", which will propagate our lighthouse position and thoughts every 3 months or so....

We could fill it with random topics. That would be fun.

I tried something like that with the ZRT. I think I managed to get 1 broadsheet released before abandoning the project due to getting Real Life busy.
But a good idea, especially if we can fill it with art, culture, beer, and all things that help make the Peculiar Life a Good Life.

I could whip up a set of directions on converting a Telecaster to an Esquire. I'm sure that would be useful to everybody. Or I could do photographic tours of Arizona; I travel a lot for work. There's not a person on the planet who isn't curious about what Holbrook looks like, I bet.

I'm thinking that such things are actually a pretty great idea. Help pull it out into the wider world

Maybe I'll try to create some kind of a design for some envelope sleeves... I'm wondering, should we use a somewhat conservative name like "The Peculiarist", or something more flashy, like "The Blinking Ziggurat", or even something that we discussed when we were still the MRP before our fatal land slide election victory triumph, "Chrisomileu" (sp?) ?

How about "The Winking Pharos?"

What did Chrisomileu even mean? Do you remember?

I looked up the dictionary, it must have been "Crisomileu", meaning "orange (colour)". I have no idea who came up with this, and why. A draft cover of this magazine is lying around on my computer somewhere, with a ziggurat picture in it. A quickly done search only brought back this item: Attachments:

I began to compile a synopsis of our party planks, which will certainly need the assent of all members of the NPW.
Wrapped it into something that is called "The New Peculiarist", sort of the central organ of the NPW. That needs assent as well.
If both of these issues are sorted out, we could wrap some more things like texts and pics into this wrapper to make it some kind of a news and whatever magazine, even if only as an ephemeral issue.
So, comments, please.

There's an old tradition in Talossa that all the monarchs are Kings, regardless of Gender (Florence Yarney was King Florence). Is that something we like? I had included it on the monarchy reform ammendment

Friendly, helpful comment #1: "...as the ceremonial head and the face of our nationette, is more than but an advertisement factor that sells." I'm not sure what this means. Did you mean to say "...nationette, is little more than an advertisement..."? Or do you mean the the monarchy is more than an advertisement?
Friendly, helpful, harmless comment #2: "The New Peculiarist Way will argue for a reform of either the Organic and the Statuary Law." I'm guessing you meant "both" rather than "either," otherwise the statement seems to say that we haven't decided which of the two bodies of law need reform.
No belittlement or insult intended, sir, I sure as heck couldn't have written it in German!

Did you mean to say "...nationette, is little more than an advertisement..."? Or do you mean the the monarchy is more than an advertisement? Good question. I think I meant to say something like "even those who don't like monarchy will at least have to admit that it's good advertisement". And I wanted to say it in a way that is hurting no feelings, although I'm certainly one who strongly dislikes the idea of monarchy. No need to apologize! As I want to be able to express my thoughts, I'm happy to learn to use your langue correctly. I wasn't aware of the fact that "either" is kind of a logical XOR ("exclusive or"), so, many thanks for not letting it slip away. And then, of course, I'm not the monarch of our party, I'm the moderator. Especially when it comes to writing down the party programme.

I had included it on the monarchy reform ammendment Oh, I had missed this little detail. Both ( both, not either! ) details, to be more precise. It never really dawned to me that King Florence wasn't a man, and I kind of skipped the words "regardless of gender" in you proposal. Well, actually, I don't know. I guess I don't really care, either way will be a good way for me. As long as it won't cause hurt feelings.
