It seems we have 11 seats in the Cosa. We announced... 1. Vitxalmour Conductour 2. Andreas Lorentz 3. Ián Txáglh 4. D. N. Vercáriâ ...as our potential seat takers. Any opinions on final allocation? We also appear to have 2 seats in Benito. If I'm not mistaken I'm probably going to have to take those.

11 seats, 4 takers = 3 for 3, and 2 for one, maybe? I'd be willing to take the two, one seat more or less will not increase or decrease the sense of my words.

Any opinions on final allocation? the pattern ought to be smth like 3,3,3,2 if to have it distributed as equally as possible.

Organic Law: Article VIII: (Composition of the Cosâ): Section 3: Seats won by each party shall be divided by that party among its own members and supporters as it sees fit, with the proviso that each Member of the Cosâ may hold no more than thirty seats. Call me daft and silly, but it occurred to me that nothing says we have to divide evenly. In fact, it says we get to assign as we see fit. And then I thought, "Wouldn't it be grand to give each person 2.75 seats?"

A laudable peculiarist thought.

that would be pretty uncomfortable, my ass has to be spread not only across three chairs, but not even proportionally. that would pain.
but, i agree, nothing is weird enough not to be peculiar.

Hey, we came second best party in Benito. Isn't that a reason for sounding propaganda speeches?

A laudable peculiarist thought. It does seem to fit with our stance that all MC's should be equals. Hey, we came second best party in Benito. Isn't that a reason for sounding propaganda speeches? Just wait untill 2027!

*cough* I posted our "decision" in the Cosâ, awaiting protests and lectures about the indivisibility of seats. (as we say in German, "ich habe einen Clown gefrühstückt" - "I breakfasted a clown" = I'm in a goofy state of mind)

It specifically states that parties must get whole seats, but neglects to make the same distinction when stating that internal party division is at party discretion.

Anyway, a good opportunity to make some points in favour of a one seat / one vote per MC - Cosâ. And for a little peculiarist "happening" that is amusing the masses.

Of course I suppose we'll certainly need to trigger the rip line after a short while, before this is turning into a petty argument. ;-)

That was fun. So...3,3,3,2? I'd be OK with the short seat as well. (I can envision us fighting over the smallest piece of cake...)

We could rotate the 2 every month, top down or bottom up on our list of MCs.

We can't really expect them to remember or enact that scheme. We should just play nice and do an official assignment with names and seats all in a row. Then if we desire to enact our scheme, we will have to do it within parameters.
Whoever says: "I yield one seat back to the NPW." and then you say: "The NPW reassigns one seat to ___."
nothing they can argue there.
