Azul,
I am glad there is consensus among the existing members that ESB will not be kicked out, but as a prospective citizen who had an interest in this party's principles, I can't say this makes the prospect of joining you nearly as attractive as it was.
While I am in full possession of a functioning sense of humour (I write satire) in my opinion this went on too long and affected too many people for the party not to make a stand on it.
While the conduct of the member in question might have been funny or useful had it been directed and contained, it was, I think, excessively disruptive, arrogant, self-serving and damaging to the citizen of Talossa, creating much strife and consuming much time... not the least of which is the administrative resources spent processing his numerous applications for citizenship and arms.
The member in question fled Talossa and renounced his citizenship rather than face the charges.
The member's conduct upon return, in my eyes, has lacked the level of humility I would expect from one who has caused this level of disruption. In fact, it seems like he continues to be amused by it.
Additionally, this is not the first occasion, by far, where this member has created drama in Talossa through numerous entrances and exist, renouncing his citizenship.
Fell free to ignore me completely as I don't have your longitudinal perspective.
Then again, if this is how things look to someone who has casually kept tabs on Talossa since late last year and has only been actively engaged for a week, maybe I have a perspective worth considering.
Respectfully yours,
- Seb.

I guess we've said everything that had to be said on this case when it was uncovered. If you're reading this thread carefully, you'll see.

Furthermore it seems like ESB joined the new Progressive Party in the mean time, so we don't have go discuss the impact of his membership on this party any more. Problem solved, from the NPW's internal perspective.
Anyhow I like to repeat my opinion, that a possible perpetrator has to be deemed not guilty (in a legal sense) before a court had a say in this. We elected a new team of party leaders, though, as a compromise between taking immediate action and avoiding some sort of a pre-condemnation.

Btw., if we'll ever get back on our feet again, we'll probably need to come up with a minimal party statute, which explains how to become a member and how to give up or lose ones membership. Without such a statute, it would be an act of arbitrariness to ask a member to leave, for which reason ever.
